For Teachers

The Graffiti Hurts® curriculum supplement

The Graffiti Hurts®: Care for Your Community Teacher Guide contains seven interdisciplinary lesson plans to help teach students in grades 3-5 about why graffiti is harmful to them and their community. Through these lessons, children are given an opportunity to develop a sense of respect and responsibility for their surroundings and to resist peer pressure to do graffiti.

These lesson plans were developed and field-tested by educators participating in a graffiti education and prevention program through Keep American Beautiful, Inc.
